The Urosevic Foundation
Study, research and preservation of archival material
relating to monarchy, kingship and royal history
Origins and Purpose
The Urosevic Foundation is a London-based foundation dedicated to the study of monarchy,
kingship and monarchist movements, and to the preservation of books, photographs, ephemera
and related archival material connected with royal history.
Formed in 1985 by the late Margaret and Pamela Davis, and named after Capt Milan Urosevic,
a Serbian soldier who supported the army of King Peter of Yugoslavia during the Second
World War, the Foundation continues its work from its present headquarters in east London.
The aims and objectives of the Foundation are:
- To promote the general study of monarchy and monarchist movements
- To promote study and research into the theory and practice of kingship
- To assist societies and individuals engaged in the study and research of these fields
- To provide a library and to offer advice and guidance
- To provide a library or museum, together with reading rooms and meeting rooms
- To arrange and provide, or join in arranging, public examinations, meetings, lectures and classes
